Field of Lilac
"I needed something to "pop" and make me think when I created this painting. It makes me feel powerful and I needed to feel some power over my situation when I painted it (the time of the Covid-19 lock-down). We shall overcome or we will at least come to terms with how to live with it and go on with our lives.
Red-I'm not as angry as I was at the beginning of the Stay-at-home order.
Green-is the spring of hope.
Yellow-brings a glow and happiness, a new beginning.
Lilac and blue-top it off. This painting gives me joy."
