Far Away from Home
"This painting started out “on the dark side.” I liked the darkness, but I set it aside for over a year. I eventually decided that I might be the only person in the world who would appreciate its darkness. Blue is my favorite color and almost everyone likes a little gold. I thought of an image far away from the home of the initial painting. You can see the original dark brown and a little dark blue in the central parts of the painting. It took a lot of this luxurious blue to cover up most of the darkness of the original painting. I use my artistic swoops with my paint brush to add a little extra flair."
