"Orange, shades of green, and blue contrast nicely. Contrasting colors is what makes my art unique, but it isn’t just my use of color. Do you know how I splattered the blue to add effect? Rubber bands! I cut rubber bands different lengths and tied them to a pencil. I dipped my rubber bands into a tray of blue paint. I made a big swoosh of blue on my canvas before I started flinging the paint until I reached the desired effect."
