"I painted over an earlier painting, Inferno Coming, to develop this improved painting. The earlier painting was painted during the 2020 stay at home order and exhibited at a show in Durham, NC about social justice. I decided to make this painting more vibrant than the original by adding diagonal lines of different colors while I waited for a new shipment of canvases."
