Delicate Marks on a Sage Green Canvas

"Green is a color I haven't used very much in my art, there are simply too many possible variations of it and I get overwhelmed, but I recently saw this mossy sage green come up a lot in some style forecasting magazines I was reading and just felt immediately connected to it. A deep blue canvas gives the green a beautiful depth. The challenge I set myself with this particular work was to create the most delicate, subtle marks while still staying true to myself and my style. I am really happy with the resulting piece."
