"The softness of the curves and the lack of straight lines in 'Yellow in Curves' gives the piece a sense of calm. It's just soothing to look at. Creating it digitally allowed me to present the curves in such a way that they work together despite them going in opposite directions.The different tonal values of the yellows created separation without a disconnect and the white space actually ties them together. The gray curves was added for interest without competing with the yellow.

This piece was inspired by an interior shot of a building, and how the light and shadows worked so well together to define the space."
