Winds of Time

"My paintings are an expression of my desire for joy, freedom and play; things that are difficult to come by as a severely ill person who is currently 100% housebound because of craniocervical instability, where my skull shifts and presses on my spinal cord. I begin with a simple intent: play with paint. Like how able bodied people can go out eat, explore a city or the forest, go to a shop, and spend time with friends, I paint in the spirit of freedom, fun and exploration. Decisions are made spur of the moment- stream of consciousness style, as I refuse to confine myself in the one area where I can find freedom."
