"This painting has a snake-like quality, so I named it "White Snake Woman" in the Ojibwe language. Its actually a spirit name that was given to me by an Ojibwe medicine man up in Canada. Snakes traditionally represent healing, transformation & wisdom. The white animals are the spirit animals. This painting was a lot of white, White is a blank space where so many possibilities can happen."
