Vulture (Sarcoramphus Papa)

"I have long been compelled by the urgent need to halt the destruction of the Amazon rainforest. In my Abstracting Amazonia series, I sought to evoke a sense of wonder in viewers as they imagine the hidden worlds beneath the emerald canopies, closer to the forest floor. The strange, otherworldly shapes and colors of the flora and fauna may initially seem ambiguous but soon give way to a sense of awe. Through abstract forms, I aimed to convey this ambiguity, while the vivid, saturated colors capture the exuberance and untamed beauty of Amazonian life."
