"I like painting surreal dreamlike landscapes with colors that aren't natural. Sometimes I imagine people as colors, and the dance they make together in a painting. The colors of this painting are my wife and I's favorite colors, and I wanted to see the beauty they would make when mixed together. This painting was titled "Variations in B Minor" as a play on a musical composition written in a low key."
