"I am fascinated by the process of creation both individually and collectively and sometimes the creative process involves turbulence, discomfort and chaos. The central column portrayed in many of my pieces is an abstract representation of this constant forward movement of humanity; always changing and discovering new inventive ways to evolve. This particular piece focuses on the rough edges and rocky road that is sometimes necessary for true transformation. All the photo textures for this painting were taken from the very textural town of San Miguel de Allende, Mexico and are digitally collaged."
