Tilt a Whirl

"Wildflower from the Homeless Garden Project that I brought home. The amount of and vividness of the colors of each flower was sort of amazing. I try to get something more than just a subject-still life of things like this. It seems quite alive and I wanted to get that into the image. Taken late at night, in low light, long exposure with the intent of getting some energy, kinetic motion that I thought the flower had inherently."

- Michael Van Huffel
