The Crossing
"This is part of a series developed in 2023 exploring access, isolation, and inclusivity—focusing on marginalized subjects in seemingly innocuous situations. Journal entries from when I was relearning how to write post-stroke are printed on acrylic fiber paste. Two people cross the street—one grasps a walker, the other is in a wheelchair. Cars speed behind them. The light fades from the street as warm orange street lamps illuminate the end of the day. Text decoupaged into the street and shop signage."
