"The Sun’s rays are hot. Sorbet is cold. And both make me happy. I like to imagine eating some delicious icy sorbet and feeling cheerful immediately after. Sunny and Refreshing! This painting was really fun to create! It’s a square of textured delight. I began by painting many layers of colors with a few hints of shimmer. The molding paste was applied throughout the process. I used a palette knife to give depth and really love the way this artwork came to life!"
