"Sol-Duc Falls is a very picturesque falls. I wanted to show the beauty of the falls with it’s forked streak that flows through a rich woods. To do that I wanted to give it a painterly feeling with the glow of the sun from upstream lighting the way through the trees. The slow shutter shows the motion of the stream and falls, and the light falls off at the edges to keep the focus on the falls and the growth along the stream."
