"I had images from the macro/colored resin landscapes that were too dark, foreboding. They had a very good structure though. I'd been working on other images, mixing nature shots from my local area, and wanted to try something similar to warm up the macro shots. I found that compositing images of seaweed that colored and toned those macro shots really made organic natural-looking images that are also a bit abstract and painting-like."
