Scratching the Surface
"Scratching the Surface' was created using a digital photo of my painting 'Gold Circle' which at that point was incomplete, and manipulating it to appear that gold was under the paint and was being exposed by sanding the surface of the paint. This is an example of how I use actual paintings I've done to create digital art by incorporating them into the piece. pieces such as this I call 'hybrids'."
