Ribbons in the Sky

"The elements wind and water emerge as prominent motifs in this piece, embodying fluidity, liberation, and the art of release. We discover so much beauty when we listen to the universe and go with the flow, like "ribbons in the sky." Just as the layers of our life experiences shape our identity, multiple coats of paint unveil the depth and history within each piece. The varied consistencies of poured paint foster organic interactions and reveal captivating imperfections. Wheelchair track marks and swirls also serve as powerful symbols reflecting the individual paths we each navigate throughout our existence. The swirls guide the viewer on a journey, replicating the cyclical nature of life and existence. These cyclical patterns reflect the idea that "everything comes full circle," reinforcing the idea that after a healing/repair process, one's journey may return to its aspired state or born anew."
