"This abstract contemporary landscape calls to mind an open expanse of open space that one might find on the Midwestern plains or traveling across the Southwestern desert. My inspiration comes from the nuanced, layered, and linear strata of the terrain interspersed with chunky blocks and outcroppings. Colors used are the neutrals, warm, and cool tones found in nature."
