"This is an alcohol ink painting on polypropylene which gives it its radiant, flowing and sometimes saturated quality. In this piece, I experimented with texture using various applicators and brushes to vary the effects of the ink. The result was an abstract piece that looked to me like a sky portal into another universe, so I named it 'Portal.'"
