Pockets of Sunshine
"Pockets was a painting that went through stages. The underpainting was an abstract that I felt was not working, colors dull. I applied the silver acrylic ink and started with some of the brighter colors that I enjoy. I filled three quarters of the images and felt it was finished. After a couple years of staring at it I finally decided that it wasn't finished. Filling in the rest w/the bright colors brought the sunshine to a dull painting."
