Perspective 2

"When I was thinking of the possibilities to create and express myself while honoring the criteria for a simple, abstract piece with clean lines, the word “perspective” came to mind.

In “Perspective I and Perspective II” I used opposite colors to reflect the different appearance of objects to the viewer and let them see differences of viewpoints. The opposing colors allow each color block to maintain its energy while giving the viewer an opportunity to see each one color individually and form their own view.

An interesting point with this work is that Perspective I and Perspective II can be viewed vertically or horizontally; together and individually – it is the viewer’s perspective as to how they enjoy viewing the work."
