Patience Armor

"This work stems from an original watercolor painting. I wanted to create a scarf design or a tapestry that could be seen in multiple directions, that when folded, would show different details. I'd like to think of this one as a soft armor to fill ourselves with patience when we need it most: Patience to go through the process the days that don’t flow like we want, Patience to sit in traffic or wait for long lines and deliveries, Patience to learn something new, Patience to choose to do what is required of ourselves each day. Patience to rest and to grow."

- Juliana Alonso
