"Another using a flower as material, but not really meant to be a photo of a flower. I always try to find something different if I can, and I think this is a good example. If I could paint, I’d like to be able to paint something like this -- delicate, with subtle detail and the strong clean curve interrupting the softness of the background. It’s the same flower used in 'May 31, 1985' and 'Auntie Em! Auntie Em!' which for me shows how different the same subject can be if looked at from another angle."
