Panes on Blue

"Two transparent planes, both subdivided into quadrants of colors, intersect across a central, vertical axis, to optically play with brilliant color, light and dimensionality. Dated 02.17.22. These new pieces continue an idea I've been working toward for a long time--which I haven't had the means to complete on this scale until now--whereby multiple planes and geometric shapes overlap, creating dynamic interplays of shapes and light, which are emphasized by the use of iridescent and metallic pigments."
