"This piece was inspired by the carefree era of my youth which i always see through rose colored glasses. I look back fondly with the eyes of a child or a teen again. As more time goes by, the dark moments get filtered out. Then I'm left with pure nostalgia, specifically for the pop culture of the 80's, my favorite muse. Flashbacks of the energy, pop music, flamboyant fashion, iconic films and bright neon colors will forever be embedded in my mind."
