Out of My Window: Time Burning

"Because of my disability, I often work propped up on pillows, looking out of this window. It is the best window in the house. I lose track of time. It burns a hole in my pocket. The instant photo is disassembled and a fragile layer swims like a sea creature avoiding capture. I lift and rinse and lift again in order to get the image to appear on the paper. I must release frustration and take a deep breath in order for it to cooperate. The image will not abide being forced."

- Dale Wayne
