Like a Rollercoaster

"I made this piece with ink and a watercolor wash. Roller coaster rides are fun. When I was making it I was thinking about riding a roller coaster and how much fun they are. It made me smile. I started with a blue watercolor wash, the roller coaster in Santa Cruz is by the ocean. After the wash was finished I watered down my inks so they would be translucent. Then I started making a repeated pattern of horizontal lines, some lines overlap others don't."
