"This painting is part of the Save the Coral Reefs series, inspired by a news article highlighting various research efforts to combat the destruction of coral reefs. These scientific lifelines offer hope that, through innovation and intervention, we may be able to restore and preserve some of the world's coral ecosystems for future generations. Using collage elements, I want to remind viewers that there is still beauty to be preserved. These bright white patterns set against a dark background, produce a contrast to highlight what needs to be saved."
