"Inspired by playful brush strokes and letting go with freedom to play with painterly splashes, bold lines, ink staining, and unconventional tools. Experimenting with turning original marks into digitized repeating patterns always feels like 1+1=11! The simplest movements can be amplified to bring dreams and creative expression to different objects and surfaces and the process is full of possibility (hope). I wanted to create an abstract sense of joy made with how little I could make during this season of recovery (year 2), while celebrating imperfection and authentic movement and keeping a limited color palette that would be friendly to produce and adjust."
