Imperfect Joy (Midnight Blue)

"My idea of bravery has slowly become about allowing myself to break and rebuild as many times as necessary, trusting that however far from 100% healed I am, at any given day, I can find joy and I can continue trying! I originally made this for a lettering challenge, which I immediately took with defeat because writing is one of the hardest tasks for me. Then, as I started connecting to communities and artists that keep creating through the joys and hardships of their unique health and life conditions, I started feeling seen and more encouraged to try it and to show some love to my own writing. I feel very thankful to have a community, and hope to find a way to forward the same encouragement and awareness to those who need it. We all need to know (and be reminded!) that we are not alone in our paths. I’m deeply grateful for the technology that I need to keep going and for dreams and creative expression to different objects and surfaces and the process is full of possibility (hope). I have titled this one “Imperfect Joy”"
