"I love to play and do the work of discovery when it comes to art. This piece was created in tandem with I Got A Degree. I find that pieces like these that surface when I let myself approach the canvas with passion and joy and complete freedom, show off those feelings! I began with lines and shapes drawn with pigment sticks, and continued with loose, big strokes of acrylic paint, spray paint, oil sticks, pattern, and mark-making with acrylic markers and watercolor pencils. Vivid fluorescent color, comforting soft shapes, and a feeling of movement give these pieces an overall sense of brightness and fun."
