"Creative expression is one of my most powerful tools I use daily to cope with my health challenges and to build inner strength. I created this painting right before a major surgery as an act of love for life in the midst of personal challenges. Painting meditation supports my recovery process. I combine art-making with mindfulness, visualization and affirmation practices. It nourishes the soil of my inner peace garden. I hope the audience can look at this painting and be reminded of their own inner strength. Peace is always possible within ourselves, despite challenges we face."
