How It All Starts

"I often try to create photographs that look like a particular thing, not necessarily the actual material I'm using. This was created with water, oil, inks and water. I was actually trying to capture something much more like actual space, but I saw this sort of crazy pink, bubbles emerging from it, and some magnesium dissolving on the right. It wasn't exactly what I was trying to achieve but I was really happy at this bold, organic image."
