""Healing" is a piece very close to my heart, and lives up to its name. It adds some gritty and "real" elements of being human with the use of an acrylic medium base to show the underlying struggles we all go through in our quest for peace. The addition of iridescence and translucency illustrate moments of clarity and self-realization. For me, the colors are very similar to a calm yet magical sky, and this is how I felt inside when I created the work. I had shed something I no longer needed and found so much hope and love within myself through all the movements I'd made."
