Happiness
"I was inspired to represent feelings of happiness. The core of this painting was created using my artist symbol. I created my artist symbol during childhood. I experienced childhood depression and suidal ideation, but making art during my elementary class with my favorite art teacher Mr. Beckner---- gave me incredible feelings of happiness. It was one of my first experiences of experiencing the nourishing, healing and soothing power of the arts. My artist symbol reminds me of the joy that my inner child felt."
