Guadalupe River Summer
"Meaning: The majority of my recent works have been to create images of nature's beauty that will help stimulate good moods in the viewers. I particularly like working with photos of rivers and trees, and those are photos I take frequently in many locations. Process: I took this photo from a small bridge over Guadalupe River outside Ingram, TX. I made dozens of versions- changing colors and adding oil painting type texture. I usually prefer working with blues and greens. I do the majority of my work in Photoshop and lately have been experimenting with some special Raw filters that I purchased from digital program developers. They are filters that can be done manually by anyone, but they create the finished format so it can be added more quickly. This image was created in Photoshop using Camera Raw filters to adjust color grading and using standard Photoshop image adjustments and stylize options to adjust saturation, variance, texture and more. Inspiration: This image is from another photo I took at the same location as Guadalupe River Fall. I love visiting Ingram, TX. It is one of my favorite places to take photos- the river there is so beautiful and this location was one I planned to photograph for a year. Content: It is a photo of the narrow Guadalupe River taken from a small bridge just outside Ingram, TX."
