Geodynamic
"This is part of the "Migration" series and is in the "Terrain" subgroup which is about transformation from suffering. It is a part of a 5 year series called "Despite the Pain" that mirrors the migration of the Monarch butterfly and my own journey with illness. This traveling part of the journey imagines the view the Monarch butterfly has from the air as it migrates. It also parallels my own journey as I left a cave-like existence due to illness and pain and traveled.
The method is moving a DSLR camera that take snapshots of earth, then develop them in Photoshop. This entire collection is about the evolution of perspective from the individual to the cosmic. Five years, five collections to form one snapshot."
