"Colors, shapes ... and wonderfully bright colors. This IS my happy place. You can find texture within this piece, too. I have a type of synesthesia whereby the texture I can see with my eyes is conveyed to my fingertips. Adding visual texture to my pieces to "game" my senses is very satisfying. Living with neuropathy in my fingers because of MS makes this added facet in my creation a lot of fun. Also, it allows me to explain my synesthesia to others efficiently. This piece also speaks to my vision (keratoconus and diplopia), which, at times, can dull colors. I sometimes overcorrect on purpose to get the brightest colors I can muster. Adding the visual texture is just the icing on the cupcake for me!"
