Finding Home

"This representational abstract painting was inspired by the archetypal notion of “home” and the inevitable pull toward returning, if only in our minds, to a certain grounded place or time. Repetitive irregular monoprinted shapes are used to loosely depict stacked rows of houses. Soft shades of blue, grey, and white predominate, while a single orange house shape signifies the “home” among all the other houses."
