Kae

"My work isn’t focused wholesale on the intent and meaning of each piece. I purposefully make my work approachable so that regardless of someone’s experience with art, they can - hopefully - gain some enjoyment from it. If that enjoyment leads to them reading an artist statement, or seeking me out for a discussion, all the better. My artwork is not about what the work is “about” per say, it's about the conversations we can have once we’re standing in a room together. It's at that point when I consider the piece is truly finished."
