Downpour of Happiness
"I created this painting after surviving a recent life-threatening infection and a life-threatening complication with one of my organs. I spent significant time being treated in the hospital. I felt so grateful to receive incredible care from an amazing team of nurses, doctors, and medical specialists. As I have gotten stronger during my recovery process, I have felt an increasing downpour of happiness in my heart. It's easy to take life for granted. This recent health journey inspires me to stay more present and savor each drop of life I get to experience."
