Des Helden Friedenswerke/The Hero's Works of Peace Number 1
"One of a series of works inspired by the tone poem Ein Heldenleben by Richard Strauss, as well as Joseph Campbell's The Hero with a Thousand Faces as I begin to see myself as the hero of my own journey I stretch myself to create much larger works and make stronger marks. As a former horn player, Strauss will always fill me with intense emotion, and creating art inspired by his tone poems is both challenging and cathartic."
