Dancing Queen
"This piece is a "dreamscape" and by that I mean to say that it is produced with little, if any, premeditated notion of what the piece will be or should be. I look at these pieces as a sort of dialogue between my thoughts and my hand movements, a free association of strokes and brushes, shapes, and lines, until the picture begins to speak up or as an image is asking to be more clearly defined and cohesive. I begin to shape that and play with it until it says 'stop'. This dreamscape shows a confident figure in a dance pose. There's a walkway that lay before him and the dancing queen celebrates that feeling when you are in the bright lights of the city and you feel as if you could hold that graceful pose."
