Color Storms
"Color Storms was inspired by inclement weather during a sudden summer pop-up storm. The greens and blues are interpreted to look like puddles against a transforming sea. The sky is raining colors that are often found in the intensity of a summer storm moving quickly across the sky. There is also a softness that can be felt from Color Storms, including the possibility of a rainbow. I used layer upon layer of paint to depict depth and a sense of motion."
