"I painted 'Color Map 2' by choosing a color and haphazardly painting shapes. I did that until the canvas was full. After that I used a paint marker to fill in the black and white lines. I did all of this while being very close to the canvas and when I stepped back I saw all of the shapes I made and I named it 'Color Map 2.' The paintings in this style look like maps to me."
