"Inspired by the blurry feeling of family and friends lighting each other’s colorful candles during celebrations and playing with sparkly shimmering lights as far as I could see. I used analog watercolor circles with lots of texture and turned them into halftone line-works to create an infinitely repeating pattern that keeps the translucency of light and my abstract feeling about it, while using a limited color palette."
