Aviator Flight No. 2

"With a military background, I love aviation and many of the facets around it. This was a set of 5 done in red tones. The original pieces were created and reminiscent of an earlier time in aviation history and thoughts of the Red Baron and the flying ace. I reimagined these pieces in blue for a newer history. The works are fractals at their core and grounded in fractal geometry. They have been manipulated to move away from much of the self-similarity and to convey an aesthetic of modern art better. The No. 2 in the series, if it represented a part of the plane, would be the body and a sense of motion."
