Always In

"This work is about sensory pleasures and reconnecting to child-like enthusiasm while I paint. Exploring how different colors vibrate off of each other and guide your eyes around the piece is a very joyful activity for my brain. This is a very intuitive process that started with an abstract structure underneath which was slowly filled in by different marks of color in different sizes and shapes. All of this results in an abstract form that feels weighted, active, and playful."
