"Living with ADHD I have created many systems to manage my everyday life. This is no different with my artwork- These systems in art usually manifest themselves in pieces that have a sticker-like quality with a focus on clean lines and symmetry. This painting is a unique peek into my mind when it is leaning into it's natural instincts to create this way and allow for discomfort to take the lead. There is a sense of calm that is beautiful made by allowing myself to get comfortable with my natural instinct toward perfection. To allow my brain to feel at ease with its most natural process of coloring inside the lines. Age of E is inspired by my wife Elizabeth's company of the same name. She is a coach that empowers female entrepreneurs. I sign all my paintings with the Dying Daisy- The daisy represents how things can be beautiful despite being imperfect."
